An instant hit from the long-awaited Wheel of Time TV series, performed by Thom (Alexandre Willaume) this raw, tobacco-and-whisky flavoured ballad immediately caught us and wouldn't let go. So we wrote a metal cover of it in our own flavour. And then we added our own twist to it with the Part II of this track - Crane of Malkier.

Where the original song speaks quite clearly and eloquently about Lews Therin, the original Dragon, who caused the Breaking of the World in his madness, and the torment that came to him as a result, our track focuses on another "Man who can't forget" - the last Malkieri king, on a sworn crusade to avenge the death of his land and bring down the Dark One.

These two tracks shape the duality, juxtaposition, and dimmed glory of two men, neither of whom can let go of the past.
